All the usual Camino experiences today. First an emotional first sello in the most beautiful Santiago church. The date stamped is my motherś birthday so I need a bit of time to say a special prayer for all the family. Madrid city is wonderful in the early morning and we walked past the Hostal Sol we stayed in last time we visited. Out to the Campo, cafe first, out on very dry path, the river has 11 crossings with granite stone bridges (but no river any more). Then the first glimpse of a church spire in the distance. And many sheep coming down the road. Then a quick can of beer a bocadillo and on the train into Madrid once more. The first 3 etapes have no alberques and Jose and I head to his Casa for the cena. Tomorrow we have to get the train back out which means a later than I would like start. Did I mention it was 35 degrees at 2pm. My feet are swollen already. Oh I got a blister walking to the Air Coach in greystones.
